Dutiro appointed Nedbank chairman

Innocent Dutiro

NEDBANK Zimbabwe has appointed Innocent Dutiro as its non-executive chairman taking over from Shepherd Shonhiwa who retired with effect from September 12, 2025.
Dutiro has over 30 years of experience in engineering, financial services and strategy consulting. He has served on several listed and unlisted boards across several jurisdictions including Australia, South Africa, West Africa, East and Southern Africa.
“As part of the board chairman’s succession plan, he has been work-shadowing the retired chairman, Shonhiwa in the board and board committees that the latter attended in order to ensure smooth transition on the latter’s retirement date,” Nedbank company secretary Farai Sithole said in a notice.
