ONE of Victoria Falls’ most iconic dining and entertainment attractions, The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show, has recorded its strongest performance since opening more than three decades ago, achieving its highest-ever number of dinner covers in 2025.

The milestone marks the restaurant’s best run of months since it opened in 1992, surpassing previous record performances noted in 2023 and 2024.

In total, The Boma hosted 80 404 dinner guests during the year, averaging approximately 220 covers every night across all 365 days.

The record-breaking year underscores more than 30 years of resilience and innovation at the venue, which is renowned for its immersive Zimbabwean cultural dining and entertainment experience.

Management attributed the achievement to the commitment of the Boma team, strong leadership, and a series of enhancements introduced in 2024 and 2025.

These improvements included new staff uniforms, upgraded entertainment elements and menu additions designed to enrich the guest experience.

The changes have resonated with both first-time and repeat visitors, reinforcing The Boma’s reputation as a “must-do” experience for visitors to Victoria Falls.

Africa Albida Tourism Managing Director Nigel Frost described the results as a significant achievement for the team.

“This record-breaking year is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to the dedication, creativity and hard work of the entire Boma team, who consistently delivered an experience that continues to delight guests from around the world,” Frost said.

He also acknowledged the role of travel trade partners, corporate clients, government institutions and private customers in supporting the venue’s continued success.

Looking ahead, The Boma’s management said the focus remains on building on the current momentum while preserving the cultural heritage that has defined the restaurant for more than 30 years.

The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show forms part of the Victoria Falls Safari Collection, operated by Africa Albida Tourism. The collection includes the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Victoria Falls Safari Club, Victoria Falls Safari Suites, Lokuthula Lodges, Victoria Falls Safari Spa and Queen Nandi Place, all located on the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge estate, approximately 4km from the Victoria Falls.
