Zim imports fall by 5 percent

Import patterns shifted over the course of 2025, with early-year declines reflecting the government’s push to strengthen local industries and reduce reliance on food imports.

THE country recorded a 5,7 percent decline in imports, according to data from the Zimbabwe Statistics Agency (ZimStats).
