BUSINESSMAN and construction industry leader Christopher Togaraseyi has been elected president of the Zimbabwe CEOs Network, one of the country’s leading business leadership organisations.
His election during the annual conference held in Victoria Falls from June 10 to 13 marks another significant milestone in Togaraseyi’s career.
In his acceptance remarks, Togaraseyi pledged to strengthen the role of the Zimbabwe CEOs Network as a platform for engagement, collaboration and economic transformation.
“It is a privilege to be entrusted with this responsibility by my peers. The Zimbabwe CEOs Network occupies an important space in promoting ethical leadership, innovation and meaningful cooperation among business leaders across the country,” he said.
“My goal is to build a vibrant and influential network that supports executive leadership, encourages entrepreneurship and creates opportunities for Zimbabwean businesses to thrive in increasingly competitive regional and international markets.”
Togaraseyi said fostering stronger relationships between business, government and development stakeholders would be among his key priorities during his tenure.
“There is a need for greater collaboration between the private sector, government and development institutions to unlock investment, stimulate industrial growth and create sustainable economic opportunities. Zimbabwe possesses immense entrepreneurial talent and business potential, and by working together, we can create an environment that enables enterprises to flourish,” he said.
Togaraseyi is the founder and chief executive of Togaraseyi Projects, a company that has established a strong reputation for delivering innovative design and construction solutions.
Since its establishment in 2011, Togaraseyi Projects has grown from a small enterprise into a recognised industry player with operations extending beyond Zimbabwe.

Togaraseyi was recently honoured with a Community Impact Construction and Design Innovation Award, presented at the Community Builders in Africa Awards.
He also received the Global Excellence Outstanding Leadership in Infrastructure and Enterprise Award from the Leaders Without Borders Development Centre in the United Kingdom.
Togaraseyi Projects was also recognised as an Emerging Global Business, in acknowledgement of its contribution to infrastructure development and its impact on communities across Africa through the delivery of transformative construction and design projects.
