Caledonia uncovers new gold zone at Blanket Mine

The gold miner raked in US$65,3 million a year earlier, as higher gold prices boosted earnings. Revenue was also 14 per­cent from US$66,4 million in the first quarter, reflecting im­proved production.

CALEDONIA Mining Corpo­ration (Caledonia) has uncov­ered a previously unrecognised gold zone at its Blanket Mine, with the near-surface mineralisation potential­ly opening the way for a low-cost heap leaching operation.
