VFEX overtakes ZSE in trading activity

The trade-count on the VFEX grew from 1 482 trades in January to 3 379 in June, a 128 percent in­crease. The ZSE recorded 2 347 trades in January and 2 436 in June, reflecting little overall movement, although trading activity dipped to 1 953 trades in April. The VFEX be­gan the year with 865 fewer trades than the ZSE but ended June with 943 more trades than its counterpart.

ACTIVITY on the Victo­ria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX) overtook the Zim­babwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) during the first half of 2026, even though the latter still lists more com­panies.
