Local corporate dividends surge

Last week, VFEX-list­ed fast moving consumer goods conglomerate, Inns­cor Africa announced a final dividend of 2,15 US cents per share up 43 percent from last year’s 1,50 US cents per share paid, bring­ing the total dividend for the year ended June 30, 2026, to 4,50 US cents per share compared to 2,95 US cents paid in 2025.

ZIMBABWE-listed companies are step­ping up shareholder returns, with several major firms declaring higher inter­im dividends so far this year on the back of improved earnings and stronger bal­ance sheets.
