3Ktv charts new way

ON Monday, February 28, 3Ktv went live. The family viewing-oriented station is the first independent commercial television station to go on air out of the six that were licensed by the government in November 2020.

The Jester Media Services-owned television station has broken the four decades-long monopoly held by ZBC TV.
Opening up the airwaves and allowing new players in the television industry demonstrated the government’s commitment to turning a leaf and re-affirming its desire to build Zimbabwe’s broadcasting industry.

Without doubt, 3Ktv will indeed play a critical role in providing an optional outlay in information dissemination to serve the generality of the Zimbabwean society, people living in the diaspora as well as investors.
