4 New Features Coming On Twitter Soon
Twitter seems to have no plans of slowing down when it comes to adding new features. The social media giant recently rolled out a new redesign of its interface with improved dark mode and it appears like the social media giant is planning to give us a series of updates with four new features. Here are the features that will most probably come soon:
Snooze Notifications
It can be really annoying when you get flooded with a ton of notifications from Twitter at the wrong time. Twitter is working on a feature that will enable you to snooze the notifications.
According to the official tweet by Twitter on its Twitter handle, you can choose to snooze notifications for 1 hour, 3 hours, or 12 hours.
You know when someone’s phone goes off in the theater? Or in a presentation? Or at the movies? Don’t be that person.

Follow Topics
As reported by The Verge, Twitter is also testing a feature where you will be able to follow certain topics just like how you follow people. In doing so, you will be able to find similar tweets that suits your interests even if you are not following the person who tweeted it.
The topics will be chosen by Twitter and the tweets that come under them will be curated by machine learning algorithms. As of now, only topics related to sports are supported but that will change once the feature is ready to be rolled out to the public.
Tweet Reply Notifications
You will soon be able to seamlessly catch up with all those nail-biting conversations or debates going on
Twitter. Yes, Twitter is working on a feature that will allow you to turn on notifications for specific tweets that intrigues you so you don’t miss out on any updates.
You probably have notifications on for your must-follows. Now you can get notifications when there’s a new reply to a Tweet you’re interested in! We’re testing this on iOS and Android now. pic.twitter.com/MabdFoItxc

DM Search
One of the most essential features Twitter lacked is the ability to search for direct messages. Well, not anymore. You will soon be able to search for your
DMs by typing in the name of the person in the search box. I would call it a neat addition as it improves accessibility.
