Drunk Oskid falls and breaks arm
HAVE you ever wondered why they call them wise waters?
Well if yes and you don’t have the answer then keep searching because I don’t have it.
Well at least I know they make one not so wise.
Talismanic music producer Prince Tapfuma better known as Oskid can attest to that especially after he fell and broke his arm in a drunken stupor in Bulawayo Friday.
The freak accident came as a huge blow to many artistes who have pending projects with him although the producer, Zimbabwe’s own version of Timbaland has allayed such fears.
Speaking to Showbiz after the accident, Oskid vowed to soldier on with his projects despite of the injury.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to Showbiz in Bulawayo on Saturday, Oskid was in a drunken stupor and tripped as he was checking into Cecil Hotel as he was performing in the city on Friday.
“He tripped and fell as he made his way into Cecil Hotel where he was booked. He appeared drunk though,” said a hotel personnel who witnessed the incident that left him in a plaster
When Showbiz got in touch with Oskid, he could not be drawn into revealing the circumstances surrounding his fall but he was optimistic that he would recover quickly.
“Pakaipa wangu but ndoita bho (It’s unfortunate but I will recover),” he said.
Oskid is arguably the hottest producer at the moment and has worked with artistes from across the genres.
He has worked with Jah Prayzah, Killer T, Winky D, Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave and Cynthia Mare among others.
The young producer seems to have a Midas touch that turns everything he touches to gold.
He is the man behind Winky D’s Disappear hit, Exq ft Roki’s Alleluya and Killer T’s Ngoma Ndaimba.

He developed a passion for music at Serima High School when he was 16 before going to Botswana for over a year and immediately came to set up base in his Midlands home town Gweru.
Upon his return he started his own studio Riot Records and recorded Nox Guni.
Last year, Kenako Music boss Dr Gwaza ‘discovered’ him and brought him to Harare, a move that would go on to change the script of his life as he has risen to stardom instantly.
He however is on record declaring that he always knew fortune and fame would follow him.
“I always knew that I would get this far and be this successful. There was a time when I felt ashamed of the sound that was coming out of Zimbabwe but I think I have played my part along with other producers to take our music to a higher level,” said the ex-Kenako Music man who now runs Oskid Production, a subsidiary of AB Communications. – showbiz.co.zw
