Hope will celebrate her birthday at Theatre in the Park

MBIRA songstress Hope Masike celebrates her 32nd birthday this Friday with a collaborated performance alongside Victor Kunonga.
The well-traveled singer combines with one of the most vibrant afro jazz artistes on the land and the event looks to have all the ingredients to be a thriller.
Masike’s publicist and booking manager Luckmore Muzava told Showbiz that the artiste who most view as a successor to the late talented singer Chiwoniso Maraire that she would be performing tracks from her upcoming album.
“Hope possess an electric and captivating stage presence and promises an unforgettable concert full of new, great and unique performances. Tickets already on sale at Theatre in the Park and Techtools in Avondale,” he said.
“Masike is a passionate world class musician who sings from the heart so I urge all music lovers to grace this show and celebrate with us. The coming together of these two artistes whose artistry of exceptional value makes this a not to miss concert.”

Born on September 9 some 32 years ago, Masike has shown serious vibrancy on foreign territory more than on the home front but is one in the mold that unseats any other performer when she steps onto the stage.

He said while both artistes were working on presenting the best show ever, they were also involved in other projects soon to be released.

“Victor is producing work for a regional artiste which project set to be released this year, while Hope is set to perform in Budapest and Asia in between her local gigs and has finished a scorcher of a soon to be released single with Dendera maestro Sulumani Chimbetu,” he said.
