Fingaz tax review meeting on today

THE Financial Gazette will today host a tax indaba in Harare, which will see captains of industry and commerce exploring insights and trends on tax compliance and developments in the country.

Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra) commissioner-general Regina Chinamasa will grace the annual tax review meeting, which is being held at Cresta Lodge, Msasa.

“This is an opportunity for industry and commerce to converge and to explore win-win positions when it comes to our revenue generation capability, tax policies in the country.

“It is also the opportunity for all the interested and invested stakeholders to share perspectives so that we come up with a shared position that takes the nation forward through tax,” Jester Media group general manager – events Christina Nyirenda-Chimuka said.

The event is being held in partnership with Zimra, Zimbabwe Institute of Tax Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe.
