 British GP tickets sold in record time

FORMULA 1’S momentum continues to build with Silverstone confirming that the 2022 British Grand Prix has sold out at record pace.

2022 will also be a record in terms of attendance after the addition of extra grandstand seating, bringing the race day crowd up to the 142,000 capacity.

It comes on the back of the Australian GP in Melbourne claimed a highest-ever attendance of 420,000, making it the highest-attended sporting event in Australia across a sporting event.

All three days of the ’22 British GP have sold out already, meaning this year’s race will take over from the 2021 edition as the record-setting event, with over 356,000 fans expected to descend upon Silverstone between Friday and Sunday.

It will be the first time in British Grand Prix history that all three days of an F1 weekend have sold out.

“We have experienced unprecedented demand for tickets for the 2022 Formula 1 British Grand Prix,” Silverstone’s managing director Stuart said.
