Tuku: A close encounter

A new concept to satisfy the demands of his fans in the capital, Tuku’s “acoustic” performance brings him into close proximity with his audience which is so often distanced on a big stage setup. It’s their chance to catch the finer nuances of his performance, a close-up on guitar work, a shrug of the shoulder, a laugh, a wink of the eye – a chance to get up close before he heads off on various international tours this year.
Opening for Tuku are up-and-coming young artistes John Pfumojena (vocals and mbira) and Ishe Jere (keyboards), gifted young men with a passion for their music and the ability to deliver. The seating at The Mannenberg is limited; so make it early as doors open from 8pm.
