A legacy of poverty

EDITOR — As Zimbabweans it may be time we accepted our fate and moved on. As long as ministers can become millionaires with property all over the country and whose value has no relation to their ministerial salaries and as long as President Robert Mugabe can afford to build mansions in Borrowdale and Zvimba, then we should in all fairness allow those that are “looting” to continue until their contracts end. My only concern though is that the message ZANU-PF is sending is that they don’t care about the welfare of the man on the street. In fact, they don’t care about the welfare of the country. What legacy do they want to leave? I invite Zimbabweans to visit Mpilo Hospital or Harare Hospital. Or ask the elderly folks to compare the conditions now to when Smith was in power and they will shed a tear!
