History will be the judge

EDITOR — Your editorial “Cost of infidelity” refers. People in power have never enjoyed it any better and honestly they do not care about all the issues you are highlighting. What they care about is how to get more power and enjoy themselves, drive nice cars, live in wanton luxury and speak spitefully to those who voted them into power or threaten any who dare oppose them. When put in a corner they have a way of explaining any crisis with rhetoric and half backed measures to please the gullible masses: land reform, indigenisation, Zim-Asset, the list goes on. If you tell them your policies are not well thought out, they call you a sellout and they blame it on sanctions or someone else. They never take the blame. This lot who govern us is the worst accident that has ever happened to Zimbabwe and God forgive them for they don’t know what they are doing. ZANU-PF’s reign has brought untold suffering to the people of Zimbabwe and history will judge.
