UK Hip Hop Acts For Shoko Festival

SHOKO Festival 2014 is proud to announce two major Hip Hop acts to perform on September 26 and 27 at the Alex Sports Club in Harare. Rodney P & MC Fallacy, both from the United Kingdom, will be headlining the Shoko Hip Hop line-up which will include local acts such as Tehn Diamond, Divided Kingdom Republic &AbNorm.

Rodney P is seen as a godfather of UK hip hop and is one of the biggest names in the scene.Rodney entered the UK hip hop scene in the 1980s and started out as a member of the London Posse, one of the UK’s first home grown hip-hop acts who were highly influential in the development of the genre.

Rodney P’s compatriot MC Fallacy is ahip hoppioneer who has had a glorious career navigating through the various musical genres that feature in the UK’s street and urban cultures.MC Fallacy has a flare for dropping classic anthems and club smashers.

Shoko Festival is Zimbabwe’s fastest growing international arts festival. It will feature Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Electronic Dance Music, DJ Parties, Comedy, Spoken Word Poetry, New media discussions and Workshops. The festival is produced by Magamba Network. The festival is set from September 25 to 28.
