Telecel promotion offers three new houses
TELECEL Zimbabwe has launched an SMS and recharge based promotion offering three new houses as grand prizes through their new promotion, fittingly dubbed Win A House, which is open to all Telecel subscribers.
The Win A House promotion will also have airtime and weekly cash prizes as consolation rewards for subscribers. There are cash prizes of US$100 each for 10 participating and winning subscribers awarded every week of the promotion. There is also up for grabs US$1,00 airtime awarded to 50 subscribers daily for the duration of the promotion.
The promotion is in two parts. The first part is targeted at all prepaid subscribers who can accumulate points by just recharging their Telecel Go prepaid lines with a minimum of US$1,00 every week. Telecel subscribers wishing to take part in the promotion opt-in by dialling *33330# to register. Once they are successfully registered for the competition they will receive a notification confirming their competition enrolment. Registration for this is free.
The second part is a quiz which is open to all Telecel subscribers both prepaid and post-paid. The quiz is based on subscription. To enter the quiz, subscribers send a blank SMS to 33566 and accrue points by responding to questions that they receive via SMS. Participating subscribers will receive a set of three general knowledge questions at a time with the set of three questions attracting a charge of 25c. Subscribers wishing to further increase their points and chances of winning can text MORE to 33566 to receive more questions.
Telecel’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nkosinathi Ncube, says the promotion is an opportunity for the company to give back to its subscribers by offering huge prizes.
“Telecel has a history of offering value through huge discounts and bonuses. We have decided to continue that tradition of sharing value with our customers by offering three houses in a single promotion,” said Ncube.
The promotion which starts on September 14 is expected to run until December 14 this year.
