Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards on this Saturday

LEADING African acts Flavour, Yemi Alade, Zonke and Ali Kiba are billed to perform at the fourth edition of the  Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) to be held at the Eko Hotel on March 5. The AMVCA is the biggest celebration of film and television talent across Africa. This year, the show promises to be even bigger with top contenders from across Africa vying for honours in a number of voting and non-voting categories including the newly introduced Best Movie West Africa, Best Movie Southern Africa and Best Movie Eastern Africa categories.
Commenting on the awards, the Director of  M-Net West Africa, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, said: “We are excited to once again celebrate the finest hands in African film and television. We urge viewers from all across Africa and the rest of the world to tune in on Saturday, the 5th of March as we find out who wins top honours this year. The show promises to be a great experience for guests on ground and for viewers at home, as there will be exciting performances from some of Africa’s biggest names in music and comedy.”
Viewers should expect an evening of fun, excitement and stellar performances from Nigerian high life and pop sensation, Flavour, and rave of the moment songstress Yemi Alade. Also performing at the AMVCAs are comedians Salvador and Thomas Gumede from Uganda and South Africa respectively.

The 4th edition of the AMVCAs will be broadcast on all Africa Magic channels on DStv from 5pm CAT.
