Animal feeds producer to expand footprint
A LOCAL fertilizer and animal feeds producer, Zadza Danga Feeds has announced plans to expand its operations by opening new branches across the country to meet growing demand for its products.
This has also been driven by the growing agricultural sector which is expected to contribute significantly to the country’s GPD this year.
“We will be spreading the selling branches, we are currently based in Kadoma that is where our plant is but we now have a branch for selling in Harare,” Zadza Danga Feeds managing director Peter Machakwa said.
“As we spread our wings, we have plans especially for cities where there is high demand for our products which are Masvingo, Bulawayo, Gweru and Mutare; those areas I am very sure when the year comes to a close we will have have a presence in two or three cities.”
The expansion plans are expected to create new jobs and stimulate economic growth.
Recently, 50 farmers in Mashonaland West received vital training on effective livestock management techniques from Zadza Danga Feeds, enabling them to protect their animals from tick-borne diseases. said.
