BULAWAYO giants Highlanders have a good opportunity to dislodge FC Platinum from the top of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer league when they host Triangle United at Barbourfields Stadium on Wednesday.

FC Platinum rose to the top of the log on Sunday following a hard fought 1-0 victory over Chicken Inn. The Zvishavane based side had a game in hand and the victory took their points tally to 33 to dislodge Highlanders who also have a game in hand with 30 points.

But Bosso have a superior goal difference over FC Platinum and a win of any margin today will lift them to the top of the log once again. The leadership at the top has changed hands several times between Bosso, FC Platinum and Caps United. And Bosso have the chance to get back to the top.

They go into the match with their confidence high after lifting the ZNA Charity Shield- their first silverware of the campaign after edging Harare City 4-2 on penalties.

With the win, Highlanders banked US$12 000, while Harare City went home with US$8 000. –
