“He tries to copy James Brown – and I mean ‘tries’.

SIR Bruce Forsyth does not want moves like Jagger and insisted Sir Mick “tries to copy James Brown” with his dancing.

The veteran entertainer isn’t a fan of The Rolling Stones rocker or his groove, despite his movements on stage becoming almost as iconic as the music itself.

Asked if he rates Mick’s dancing, he told the Mail on Sunday: “Are you kidding me?
“It’s sort of grotesque. I mean, it works for him and people love it, but as far as I am concerned it’s not dancing.

“He tries to copy James Brown – and I mean ‘tries’. When he moves he makes me laugh. But you’ve got to love them – he’s still out there, still pulling the crowds, still top of the bill.”

If Mick, 71, has anything say in the matter, he’ll be strutting his stuff on stage for a while longer to come.
Discussing the possibility of retirement, he told Rolling Stone magazine: “Nah, not in the moment.

“I’m thinking about what the next tour is. I’m not thinking about retirement.

“I’m planning the next set of tours, so the answer is really, ‘No, not really.’ ” – Mirror.co.uk
