Demba Ba suffers horrific leg break

THIS is not for the faint-hearted: former Chelsea striker Demba Ba has suffered a truly gruesome leg break in the Shanghai derby in the Chinese Super League.

The 31-year-old, who plays for Shanghai Shenhua, looks to have badly twisted his leg after this fall during the game.

The full extent of the problem is not yet known, but it’s safe to say things don’t look too good for the Senegalese forward.

Ba had started this season in superb form, scoring 14 goals in 18 appearances, though his campaign is surely over after this painful injury. –metro.co.uk
