Demons manifest more in women?

A CAREFUL research on why demons manifest more in women than in men has found the following to be the likely reasons: larger percentage of women in church; women find it harder to forgive; girls more likely than boys to be abused; women are quicker to believe things; and women look for solutions more than men.

It is common knowledge that women are more religious than men. If you count the number of women in any religious congregation, you will find that women invariably outnumber men. So it is a normal occurrence that more manifestations of demons will happen in women than in men. As previously explained, manifestations of demons normally happens when a possessed person comes into the presence of God or an anointed man or woman of God. Thus more women come into God’s presence than men. Most men would rather be drinking beer or watching soccer on Sundays than attending worship services. These mundane activities do not invoke the manifestations of evil spirits.

Almost all of the ladies I asked if they think women find it harder to forgive than men gave a positive answer. Men do wrong against women and women do wrong against men. However, it seems men forgive quicker than women. This is especially so among married couples. Female spouses keep a long list of wrongs done against them by their male counterparts. Unforgiveness causes one to be uptight, resentful and melancholic. It is likely to be the reason why most ladies are prone to mood swings. According to the Scripture, unforgiveness or bitterness is a fertile ground for demonic oppression. Matthew chapter 18 has it that unforgiving people suffer from tormenting spirits. It is some of these evil spirits that manifest in church.

Women seem to be the more vulnerable species of mankind. Wicked parents and relatives abuse girls more than boys. The worst cases of abuse are when girls are assigned spirit husbands by greedy and money-hungry parents or guardians. This may explain why some ladies find husbands very late in life or even fail to secure the hand of a man in marriage. However, when such victims of evil spells come to church manifestation of the demons is almost inevitable.

Finally, women are known to be better solution seekers than men. When there is a problem women will leave no stone unturned while men will just hope or wish away the problem. Men usually leave it until the last minute but women cannot sleep as long as the problem remains. However, in looking for solutions women may end up consulting different kinds of sorcerers, diviners and spirit mediums. Some of these “helpers” use questionable means or substances to solve problems. It is these questionable means or substances that attract evil spirits. As a result more women than men happen to be tormented by foul spirits which will manifest in church.

It is, however, important to understand that experiencing a manifestation of demons is not a disgrace or something that makes one less than a normal human being. It is simply an indication that there are foul spirits tormenting the victim. In fact, demons hate manifestation because they want to remain under cover. Manifestation is the beginning of deliverance.
