Emirates Named the Best International Airline by Zimbabwe Travel Agents for the fourth time

EMIRATES which flies daily from Harare to Lusaka and Dubai, has been voted the Best International Airline by the Association of Zimbabwe Travel Agents (AZTA) for the fourthyear running.
The prestigious accolade, voted for by local travel agents, named Emirates as the country’s preferred airline at its annual awards ceremony held at the Wild Geese Lodge in Harare on Saturday (September 19) attended by travel agents, along with representatives from the Zimbabwe Council of Tourism, the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, hotels, tour operators, car hire operators, Ministry of Tourism officials, airlines and other travel industry stakeholders..

He also pledged that the airline would continue to provide the high standard of products and service that it is renowned for.
“Emirates works hard to provide a high quality service along with value for money in Zimbabwe and indeed across the world, and it is particularly significant that such a well-respected organisation as the Association of Zimbabwe Travel Agents has recognised this for the fourth year running,” said Legesse.

The latest awards, which were held under a 1920s theme of a Vintage Picnic, adds to more than 500 international awards received by the airline worldwide.
The daily Dubai-Lusaka-Harare service is operated by an Airbus A340-300 aircraft that has 256 seats: 12 luxurious sleeper seats in First Class, 42 deep-reclining seats in Business Class and 213 in Economy Class.
Customers can experience Emirates’ famous hospitality and service from its multi-national cabin crew, enjoy hundreds of channels of on-demand audio and visual entertainment, gourmet cuisine and generous baggage allowances.
On-board dining includes a choice of regionally inspired menus, wines, as well as health meal options, including children’s meals.
Customers travelling with Emirates benefit from a generous baggage allowance of 30kg in Economy Class, 40kg in Business Class and Economy Class to selected destinations, and 50kg in First Class. Passengers on Emirates flights can also stay in touch with SMS, email and phone connections in every seat.
