England manager Roy Hodgson has named a provisional 26-man squad for the European Championships.

Hodgson, who has notably called up Manchester United teenager Marcus Rashford, will announce his final squad on May 29.

The competition gets underway in France on June 10, with the Three Lions starting their campaign against Russia the next day.

Rashford, 18, has impressed in his maiden topflight season, netting seven goals in 16 games.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere also makes the cut, unlike teammate Theo Walcott.

Newcastle winger Andros Townsend and Tottenham Hotspur duo Dele Alli and Eric Dier have also been included.

Defenders: Nathaniel Clyne, Kyle Walker, Gary Cahill, Chris Smalling, John Stones, Ryan Bertrand, Danny Rose.
