Harrow makes buying quality brands at affordable prices posible
HARROWS an online platform has introduced a 24 hour doorstep delivery of groceries and products in a bid to make it easy for customers who are always quieting for days.
In an interview, Harrows Marketing Lead Arnold Mnkandla said they are offering door to door delivery of groceries.
“Firstly, on the grocery side we are offering free delivery of groceries within 24hours of ordering so that consumers no longer have the burden of queueing for hours to shop and collect groceries and to also incur further costs in carrying them home,” said Mkandla.
“Harrows is an online platform that enables Zimbabweans both locally and abroad to buy quality brands at affordable prices and have them delivered within 24hrs to their doorstep and to send goods between Johannesburg and Bulawayo with our logistics division.”
Mkandla added that shoppers carry the risk of their groceries getting damaged or lost in transit but their service delivered intact.
“On the logistics side, again consumers have been carrying the risk of goods, be it appliances, furniture getting damaged or lost without recovery when sending them home or being delayed at the border,” added Mkandla.
“We are launching a logistics division that will offer, amongst other value ads, services such as insurance on goods and the ability to track your goods whilst they are in transit.”
Mkandla said they are looking at giving consumers value for their hard-earned money and the comfort that their shipments are covered from risk and that they will be delivered without any damage or loss to their families or businesses in Zimbabwe.
Harrows said shopping and sending goods to family in Zimbabwe are time-consuming but many people based both locally and in the diaspora go through every day.
Shoppers based locally have the option to buy with their forex from the store based in Belmont, Bulawayo.
Grocery clubs or stokvels also get to buy bulk with ease with the benefit of discounts on all purchases.
