JAY-Z has addressed his infidelity in a new music video which sees the rapper confessing his sins in church.

It was Jay’s way of closing 2017 in style, with a star-studded short video directed by an Oscar-nominated filmmaker and featuring an all-star cast.

In Family Feud, one of the tracks in the singer’s Grammy-nominated album 4:44, Ava DuVernay directs Michael B Jordan. Jessica Chastain, Thandie Newton, America Ferrera, Brie Larson, Rashida Jones, Mindy Kaling and Rosario Dawson in a Godfather-like tale of love and betrayal.

The video shows Jay-Z and his daughter Blue Ivy in a church confessional, asking “Becky” to “let me alone” and admitting to “f****** up a good thing if you let me”.

“A man that don’t take care his family can’t be rich,” he sings, as flashes of Al Pacino and Diane Keaton in the Francis Ford Coppola mafia classic interlace with the video.

Jay-Z had already confessed to having been unfaithful earlier this year, but had never mentioned the name “Becky”, which first came to light in the lyrics for Beyonce’s single, Sorry.

“They sneaking out the back door. He only want me when I’m not there – he better call Becky with the good hair,” the Beyonce song goes. – news.sky.com
