Jossy sent packing, Danny joins Tails
Ethiopian, Danny, was relegated to the “Tails” house.
Six housemates – Vimbai, Confidence, Vina, Weza, Danny and Jossy – had been nominated for possible eviction but only one was sent packing. The Zimbabwean, together with Confidence, Vina and Weza returned to the Heads house to continue with the game.
Jossy received the fewest votes from Africa this week.
Wendall, the other Zimbabwean in the Big Brother house, remains safe though he has become the target of dissing from other housemates for his supposed virginity.
He has revealed to his housemates that he is still a virgin much to the amusement of the other housemates.
However, things are getting hotter in the house as some housemates are now coming out in the open about their feelings for the other housemates that no sooner than later would we see “couples” sharing the same bed.
The first confirmed “couple” is Hanni (Ethiopia) and Lomwe (Malawi) now known as Lohan. The two even showed their affection by kissing and cuddling in the presence of the other housemates.
Michael (Mozambique) who has been after every skirt that happened to cross his sight, is yet to get what he is looking for – perhaps the girls had seen through his manoeuvres.
On Monday night, Ernest (Uganda) got a wake-up call shortly after midnight when he realised that Bhoke (Tanzania) was not on the same page with him regarding their “relationship” status.
Ernest invited Bhoke to stay in his bed a little longer, but Bhoke made it clear that she needed answers.
Bhoke added that prior to coming to the house, she had had a discussion with her friend who warned her about perceptions.
She said the way people view men and women in relationships differs, “if a guy has many girlfriends, he’s a hero and a woman with many boyfriends is a hoe”.
Ernest looked confused as he wanted to know why she was calling him “babe” on Saturday night, but Bhoke blamed it on the alcohol.
Ernest and Bhoke even savoured a jacuzzi moment last Saturday, shortly after midnight.
But it also looks like Ernest has a thing with Tanzanians as he has also kissed Lotus, also a Tanzanian, though he spends most of his time in the company of Bhoke.
This week Vimbai and Wendall are safe, but four housemates are up for eviction, namely, Nkuli and Luclay, both from South Africa, and Kim and Mumba, also both from Zambia.
Contrary to the norm, Luclay decided to put himself up for possible eviction because he didn’t want to nominate anyone. Big Brother made it clear to Luclay that the repercussions of not nominating anyone would be self-sacrifice, but Luclay simply told Biggie that he was fine with that.
M-Net’s Big Brother Africa reality show is screened 24/7 on DStv channel 198.
