Sadio Mane is set for a move to Liverpool after Southampton accepted a bid in excess of £30-million.

The Senegalese forward, who scored twice against the Reds last season, has been a prime target for Jurgen Klopp, and could now become one of the club’s most expensive players ever.

He is expected to compete with Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi, with Christian Benteke set to be sold after failing to fit into the manager’s plans.

Mane, who joined Southampron from Salzburg for £10-million two years ago, is set to undergo a medical at Melwood today. – Kickoff.com
