Paul Pogba feels Juventus have nothing to lose against Bayern Munich
Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is well aware of the threat posed by Bayern Munich’s potent attack ahead of his side’s meeting with the German champions on Tuesday.
The Italian giants host the Bavarians in the first leg of their Round of 16 Champions League tie, with the Bundesliga club in fine form and impressing across all fronts both domestically and in Europe.
Pep Guardiola’s charges scored 19 goals and conceded just three in their six group stage matches in Europe, and Pogba is wary of their star-studded side ahead of their meeting in Turin.
“This season they have a great team, with players with great individual skills who can make the difference at any time,” he said.
“But we are Juventus, we are a great club. We are not favourites to win this tie, but that can be an advantage for us as well. We have nothing to lose.”

The French sensation is also relishing coming up against former teammate Arturo Vidal, who made the switch from the Bianconeri to Bayern at the start of the season.
“We know all about Arturo’s quality – he is very dynamic, he runs a lot and he can score at any moment,” he said.
“He is very skilful, he can play a great final ball, so he is a complete player; everyone knows it. We will work in training on stopping him and the other Bayern players.
“We know him so we will give him a few kicks – but nothing too nasty! We hope to win against my friend ‘Arturito’.”
Kick-off on Tuesday is set for 21:45 Zimbabwean time. –Kickoff.com
