A’Zambezi River Lodge is located in Victoria Falls, nestling on the banks of the mighty Zambezi river within the periphery of the Zambezi National Park. The imaginative architecture with its sweeping curve of grass thatch blends well with the lash green lawns. A’Zambezi is the perfect retreat to relax and unwind in the quiet ambience of the African wild life and nature, whilst enjoying renowned services.
The A’Zambezi is the only hotel with a river frontage and jetty site in Victoria Falls. On arrival an impressive water feature and teak covered walkway lead you through to the reception whereupon your eyes are treated to a wide view of the Zambezi River. The thatched double story A’ Zambezi River Lodge is set in well maintained gardens with sweeping lawns down to the river. The sparkling swimming pool finished in chip tile is very inviting.
Warthogs can be seen roaming the lawns and a local resident hippo comes up most nights from the river to graze.
All rooms have been finished to a very high standard with all the latest mod cons. Highly efficient air-conditioners cool your room in minutes which is very welcome in the very hot summer months. The beds are very comfortable and everything is clean and new. The attractive neutral decor is very appealing.
The lodge is also the closest hotel to the gates of the Zambezi National Park.

From your base at A’Zambezi, you are minutes from Victoria Falls town (5km) and the mighty falls themselves. A championship 18-hole golf course is just 2km away, while the fascinating Crocodile Sanctuary is literally a stone’s stone (300m) away. The Victoria Falls International Airport is some 25km away and the Zambian border at Livingstone is exactly 9km from the hotel.

Amulonga restaurant
The Award winning Restaurant is situated at the front of the hotel with wrap around deck metres away from the Zambezi River. The open air Amulonga Restaurant is open daily for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Sebastian’s Restaurant
The Newly Added Sebastian’s le cart Restaurant also has magnificent views of the zambezi river. Named after the one of the hippopotami that are seen along the lawns leading to the river bank below the restaurant. The restaurant is intimate 40 seats and open daily for dinners, bookings are advisable.

The main hotel Bar with its stunning deck and views of the zambezi river, a unique features as the A’ zambezi river lodge is the only hotel in victoria falls to build on the banks of the Zambezi River.
Zambezi Cocktail Bar
Situated adjacent to sebastian’s restaurant, the zambezi cock tail bar is the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring the victoria falls area and perfect prelude to a dinner at Sebastian’s.
