Spanish culinary delights at Meikles
The event is being hosted by the Embassy of Spain and Meikles Hotel and will run from October 14 to 19, under the guidance of renowned Spanish chef, Simon Gonzalez. He will work with executive chef, Chris Gonzo, and his team within the hotel to present a menu filled with Spanish and Mediterranean culinary offerings.
Spanish food is among the best regarded and most popular in the world. Geographically and culturally, Spain is a diverse country and its cuisine is equally diverse. Some Spanish dishes are universally known, such us paella, gazpacho and the Spanish omelette, the famous “tortilla”. Modern Spanish cuisine is an extraordinary combination of tradition and innovation and its quality has brought Spanish cooks to the forefront of international gastronomy.
The Spanish menu will be on offer at La Fontaine at lunchtime and in the evening on weekdays, and at dinner time only on Saturday and Sunday.
