Stanbic host exclusive wine tasting festival

STANBIC Bank Zimbabwe’s annual Wine, Gin & Craft Beer Festival lit the Queen of Hearts café in Highlands this past weekend, bringing hundreds of budding connoisseurs together over two days.

According to the organizers of the event, revelers were entertained with top shelf hand crafted beers and wines produced by some of Southern Africa’s best vintners and sommeliers.

The event, mainly sponsored by Stanbic Bank in partnership with other players, is the biggest wine tasting event in the country since its debut in 2018.

Stanbic Bank’s head of Marketing and Communications, Palmer Mugavha, said the Standard Bank Group subsidiary’s participation in the event is largely to entertain some of its high net worth customers and the general public who appreciate great wines.

Mugavha expressed gratitude to all the bank’s customers, indicating that such events are a way the institution employs to appreciate its clients for making them their financial partner of choice.

“Our guests enjoyed great wines from some of the best vineyards in Southern Africa, and diverse gin and craft beers”, he added.

Wine festivals are slowly becoming a trend in the country as Zimbabweans open up to

diverse merrymaking activities especially in the capital.
