They came, sung, painted and enjoyed

SPANISH graffiti artist, Raul Ruiz aka “El Niño de las Pinturas” (The Child of the Paintings), was in the country, courtesy of the Spanish Embassy, where he showcased a different kind of graffiti art and also held a couple of workshops.
 El Niño, together with a Spanish reggae/ dancehall singer, Swan Fyahbwoy, were in the country as part of a cultural exchange programme between Spanish and Zimbabwean artistes. Swan performed at the Libby’s Restaurant in Newlands and at the Zindoga complex in Waterfalls. He also did some collaborations with local reggae outfit, Transit Crew, at the Mannenberg. The Spaniards said they would have lasting memories of their visit and wished they could stay longer.
