Top Companies Awards gala set for next month
PREPARATIONS for the Top Companies Survey Awards, scheduled for next month in Harare, are in full swing.
Organisers are finalising arrangements for the prestigious event.
The Top Companies Survey is an annual initiative by The Financial Gazette, in partnership with Old Mutual.
The event involves a rigorous adjudication process by judges and analysts to identify the top-performing companies listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) and Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX).
The Financial Gazette’s general manager sales and marketing, Shingirai Chirikuutsi, said: “All is in order and our preparations are running smoothly as we continue to work with our partners, Old Mutual Zimbabwe. This year’s edition will be much bigger as we seek to make it more memorable with each passing edition.
“We have put in place the necessary preparations to make this year’s event another spectacle to remember as we honour Zimbabwe’s top performers for 2024. We are excited and confident that this year’s event will proffer solutions for growth,” Chirikuutsi added.
Last year’s winners included Delta Corporation, Innscor Africa, and Caledonia Mining Corporation.
The awards recognise consistent financial performance, sound financial health, and superior returns to investors.
The Top Companies Survey, established in 1980, has evolved into a key indicator of company performance in Zimbabwe’s banking, insurance, and life assurance sectors for both local and international investors.
