Use EcoCash to buy NetOne and Telecel Airtime – Here’s How
Did you know that you can now buy any airtime on Techzim using EcoCash? As part of our marketplace, we’re launching airtime as a test. EcoCash is the convenient payment method not just for payments in Supermarkets and even at informal markets – but now online too!
As we test out this product, the airtime is at discounted rates – so essentially you’re buying your airtime for less – even as Zimbabwe is going crazy with price increases
Airtime is discounted from 1% to as much as 3% of what you buy. So, say you’re buying $1 NetOne airtime, for example, you will way 97 cents. For $5 airtime, you pay $4.85 and so on…
Here are the steps
- Go to techzim.co.zw/airtime
- Select the network (NetOne, Telecel, Econet or Africom)
- Once the page for the network opens, select the amount of airtime you want
You will be shown the discount amount - Click through to the checkout page to complete the purchase
- Choose the payment type: EcoCash
- Enter your details and keep your EcoCash phone on closeby so you can approve the transaction
There you have it, it’s that simple. Let us know in the comments any feedback you have about the service or how you think we could make it better.
