Vimbai, Wendall do need your vote

This will be the last nomination and eviction before the curtain comes down on July 31 where two winners will walk away with the US$200 000 apiece in the premier M-Net game show this year dubbed Amplified.
Zimbabweans need to be reminded of the embarrassment that the country suffered last year when Zimbabwean housemate, Munya, was “robbed” of the winner’s prize after he lost to Nigerian, Uti. Though Munya lost on a technicality, it is only safe to make sure that the country vote is strong, hence, the need for all Zimbabweans to vote to keep Vimbai and Wendall in the game.
Already, Nigerians Vina and Karen have been guaranteed finalists after Vina won head of the house task and then saved her country girl, Karen, from eviction. Uganda’s Sharon O managed to sneak into the final after Vina’s dramatic ‘save and replace’ as head of the house.
Vina is renowned for her tenacity and competitive streak. Since the game started on May 1, Vina has won a string of the mini-competitions in the Big Brother house. From the Stingers task, to head of house, Vina has won them all. She has also managed to keep people focused on her with her bubbly personality and the pranks that she and Hanni used to pull in the Heads house. Also, her fixation with Lomwe has kept people talking both inside and outside the house.
Karen came to life when she moved to the Tails house and was always involved in an altercation or other with her fellow housemates. She and Luclay were once super tight until their infamous argument where he attempted to strip her. Over the past two weeks, however, Karen calmed down when cupid hit. She crushed after Zeus and went from “gangstress” to lady. After Zeus was evicted from the show last Sunday, Karen has gone back to “gangstress” mode.
When Vina saved fellow county girl, Karen, and put Lomwe up instead, she gave Sharon O a one-way ticket into the final. Sharon O is arguably most notable for being the “eye candy” and has had plenty of guys eating out of the palm of her hand in the house – Michael and Lomwe in particular. The Ugandan lass has given the housemates many a fun time with her hit “Jangu Jangu”.
The other housemates who are up for eviction are Lomwe, Millicent, Kim and Luclay.
Meanwhile, the trio of Bernadina, Zeus and Mumba were evicted last Sunday. Ten housemates still remain in the house.
Once again, Zimbabweans need to vote to keep our two compatriots in the running – let’s do it for our pride as Zimbabweans.
