Zim-Asset talk with no action

EDITOR — Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation (Zim-Asset) is all talk with no action. It is not changing Zimbabwe’s burden of inequality, poverty and unemployment. Our lives are not going to improve by mere mention of Zim-Asset. Our economy is sluggish. Our roads are impassable and water is hard to get. We have overwhelming housing needs, poor healthcare and a bad public transport infrastructure that has resulted in road carnage that could be avoided. It’s a shame the government tends to talk up its dreams because they have no achievements to show. Honourable members, this is not the time to be ordering excessively expensive cars and receiving handsome and untaxed allowances. It’s time to be real leaders.
