Zlatan Ibrahimovic names favourite player to watch

While Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains without a club at the moment, the Swedish striker has revealed which current player he enjoys watching.

The Swede is a free agent after parting ways with Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy at the end of the recently concluded season.

Ibrahimovic has always been public about his admiration for Brazil legend Ronaldo Nazario as his footballing idol, but he has now revealed he enjoys watching Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

“When he [Ronaldo Nazario] was playing, we all tried to copy him. He had such an elegant style of play,” Ibrahimovic said, according to Daily Mirror.

“I used to watch his games but I don’t so much any more. Right now, my favourite is perhaps Mbappe, who stands out above all the rest. He is the difference-maker.

“He is still young and we hope that he continues to work hard. Despite his age, he is already a star.

“I hope he keeps his hunger and that he doesn’t fall out of love with football so that he can keep improving and achieving things.

“To do so, he has to keep a cool head, which isn’t always easy.” – kickoff.com
