WildFin Financial Services, a registered microfinance institution renowned for its innovative financial solutions, has recently inaugurated a new branch in Machipisa, Highfield.

This strategic move is part of the company’s broader expansion plan within Zimbabwe and into the Southern African region, including its recent entry into the Zambian market.
The Machipisa branch aims to enhance financial accessibility for residents and businesses in the area, offering tailored products such as civil servant loans and business restocking loans.
David Mantiziba chief executive officer of WildFin, emphasised the significance of this development:
“We are excited to open our doors in Machipisa, a vibrant and strategic location. This move makes it easier for the community to access financial services that empower them to grow their businesses and meet their financial goals.”
In addition to domestic growth, WildFin has extended its footprint into Zambia, marking a significant milestone in its regional expansion strategy.
This aligns with the company’s vision to become the leading innovative financial institution in Africa.
Mantiziba highlighted the importance of this development.
“Expanding into Zambia is a testament to our commitment to providing innovative and accessible financial solutions to the region. We believe that financial inclusion is a catalyst for economic growth.”
Demonstrating a commitment to innovation, WildFin has introduced the WildFin Smart Loan App.
This mobile application allows civil servants to apply for personal loans conveniently, with quick approvals and direct disbursements into their bank accounts.
Mantiziba elaborated on the app’s impact.
“Gone are the days when accessing loans meant standing in long queues or filling out endless forms. With just a few taps on your phone you can get the funds you need.”
Furthermore, the company has launched a WhatsApp-based instant loan facility, enabling civil servants to access personal loans by messaging WildFin’s designated WhatsApp number.
This service enhances financial inclusivity providing a user-friendly platform for loan applications.
Mantiziba explained: “This innovation is particularly helpful for civil servants who may not have the time to visit our branches. They can simply message us and go through the process right from their phones.”
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, WildFin has partnered with the City of Harare to support efforts in maintaining a clean city environment.
Mantiziba noted: “We understand that businesses thrive in clean, organised cities. Through this partnership, we are contributing to making Harare a better place for everyone.”
In recognition of its innovative approach, WildFin was awarded the 2023 Most Innovative Institute by the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce.
The award acknowledges the company’s efforts in introducing groundbreaking financial solutions, such as the WildFin Smart Loan App and the WhatsApp-based instant loan facility.
Mantiziba expressed his gratitude:
“This award is a testament to our team’s dedication to innovation and excellence. We will continue to develop solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.”
Looking ahead, WildFin plans to further expand its branch network within Zimbabwe and explore additional opportunities in neighboring countries.
The company is also investing in technology to enhance its service delivery and customer experience.
Mantiziba shared his vision: “Our goal is to be the leading financial service provider in the region, offering accessible and innovative solutions that empower individuals and businesses to achieve their financial objectives.”
With these strategic expansions and innovative services, WildFin Financial Services continues to solidify its position as a leader in the microfinance industry, committed to providing accessible and tailored financial solutions to its growing clientele.
