THE Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB) says it has strengthened monitoring systems at all tobacco selling points to protect farmers’ interests and ensure they receive fair value for their crop. This comes as farmers have raised concerns over low prices being offered at auction floors in the early days of the tobacco marketing season…
