Weak labour market drags consumption

In its Zimbabwe Consumer Sector Report 2026, IH Securities said while economic stability and slowing in­flation have created a foundation for stronger household spending, high unemployment, widespread informal­ity and persistent poverty continue to constrain demand across the consumer sector.
