Music, drama at Reps Theatre

Ol’ Blue Eyes features the music of Frank Sinatra and the famed Rat Pack and has been running since Tuesday until this Saturday.
Following this on Main Stage will be the annual presentation of light music by the Phoenix and Harare Male Voice choirs, this year entitled Showbiz, and featuring songs from cabarets and stage shows. This runs from Wednesday to Saturday and features a musical. The production is a fundraiser for the choirs’ planned UK tour in early 2011.
In Theatre Upstairs George and Shamiso Gukuta star in the drama Are There Tigers In The Congo? This production focuses on HIV and Aids.
Also in rehearsal at Reps is The Importance Of Being Earnest, Zane E Lucas’ treatment of Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy of manners, which will run on the Reps Main Stage from June 23 to July 2.
