Moyo named NACZ deputy chief

In a press statement, the NACZ said Moyo will be responsible for the overall implementation of council’s programmes, projects and activities as well as supervising the operationalisation of the strategic plans and other such key plans.
Moyo joined the NACZ in 2000 as the provincial arts administrator for Matabeleland and Bulawayo Provi-nces. He rose from that position to become the assistant director (arts promotions and development) in January 2006.
Before being promoted to the present post, Moyo has been the acting deputy director since December 2009.
Moyo is a qualified teacher but later studied for a BA in Media Studies from the Zimb-abwe Open University in 2006. In June 2010 he got a Diploma in Arts Management from the prestigious Kennedy Center Arts Manage-ment Institute.
He is married to Tsungai and is blessed with two children – Thamsanqa and Nonhl-anhla.
