Africa bet rules CAPS United out in tomorrow’s clash

BETTING giant Africa Bet has raised the odds for Zimbabwean Champions CAPS United ahead of tomorrow’s CAF Champions League group stage block buster in Egypt, predicting that Zamalek SC will win at all cost against Lloyd Chitembwe’s Green Machine.

At the time of print, for every dollar placed on Zamalek for a straight win, the gambler will get 20 cents as profit, whilst for the same amount for a straight win on Makepekepe, the gambler will earn US$9.16 as profit.

Technically, this means that Zamalek has slightly above 98 percent chances of winning the match according to Africa Bet.

A straight draw for the two is pegged at US$5.92.

A double chance for the home side is paying out 4 cents, while the away team is paying out $3.10 for every $1 placed.

A 1-0 correct score line prediction in favour of the home side side is paying $5.10 whilst the same score line in favour of CAPS United is paying out US$21.72.

Odds are however subject to change.

Will CAPS United prove critics wrong? We wait and see.

Before their departure yesterday, CAPS United captain Hardlife Zvirekwi predicted a tough match ahead but called for maximum effort from his lads.

“It’s a huge task for us as Caps United, more so as we are looking at it as representatives of Zimbabwe,” Zvirekwi said.

“We are expected to do well, so we have been working hard to try and meet expectations. It will not be easy playing in the African safari, but we want to do well, we are not here to make up numbers, we want to leave a mark,”he added –sportbrief.co.zw
