Bkay, Kazz make a date with home
Coming under the Boomslang Tour banner, the Ndikati Hello singers will arrive in the country tomorrow morning and will head to Masvingo where they will hold their first show.
They will then be in Bulawayo for two shows on Saturday and Sunday before coming to Harare where they are expected to hold several other performances.
The duo has been lined up for a performance at the Harare International Festival of the Arts on Wednesday next week. This will afford them the opportunity to perform a wider audience during the week-long arts and cultural event.
According to Briony Tombs, who is the tour promoter, Bkay and Kazz will be performing at various other venues in Harare including the Arcadia Hall on Saturday next week, the Mannenberg, Kebab and Symphony, among others.
Tombs said the duo, who are brothers, have gone from strength to strength, conquering the African music scene to finally astounding the European music industry with their unique style of soulful reggae; a fusion of R&B and dancehall.
She said the two have two albums to their credit — In the Beginning, which was released in 2005 and Boomslang, which went onto the market in December last year.
The songs Amina Kadeya and Wynd With Me give an indication that the duo have a brighter future ahead of them.
