I am helpless when you fix those big eyes on me. I love the way you talk on the phone with me for six hours, it’s like you invented conversation. I love the way your favourite colour changes every month.

No man ever found a wife until today… I don’t know how to explain to you in words, your value in my life. To have found a woman of God, a wife that prays for me when I am at work. A wife that grasps, fathoms and perceives that outside of God exists nothing. You have taught me so much, more than I could tell you. Your love has healed me.  Now I have you to laugh with, to be silly with, to go jogging, to enjoy Mazoe Blackberry.

I remember a time I prayed for a wife, and wow, did God answer me or what! The day I laid eyes on you, I knew you were my wife.  From that day I didn’t want millions; I didn’t want the heavens; I didn’t want the shooting stars. All I wanted was you. Today I give you my word that I will not change, to always be the crazy man you fell in love with.

I will give you all my attention always; all my time always; to respect you, to handle you with care; to be the romantic you always dreamt of. I will be honest. I will be open. I will be a good listener. I will be your best friend. I will protect you. “Standing here today, about to become your wife, I look back at the journey that has brought us here. We have shared many memories, many thoughts and lots of emotions. I remember one morning watching the sun rise at 5 am from my bedroom window after spending six hours on the phone with you. From that moment I knew there was something special. In the few years I have known you, you have given me happiness and joy that I never knew existed.

I am not an open book to most people but with you I feel comfortable. You have shown me exciting times that I never knew to be. You have taught me confidence without arrogance, you have helped me become a stronger woman, shown me the meaning of being a person of character and wisdom through God’s faithfulness… You are always patient with me. Ready to be a teacher and ready to show me the way. When I have times of weakness, you pick me up and always tell me I can do anything…No matter how I am looking you always see the beauty in me…

I have never been this close to anyone and have a stronger bond with anyone no matter how tough things are going… Our challenges bring us closer, not only closer to each other, but closer to God.
