Britney, Kanye up for video awards

The singer’s Womaniser has been nominated in the category, alongside Beyonce’s Single Ladies, Eminem’s We Made You, Lady GaGa’s Poker Face and Kanye’s Love Lockdown.
The ceremony’s host, Russell Brand, made the announcement via a video message, joking that he i biased towards Britney: “Obviously, all these people are worthy nominees, but I realise that Britney perhaps wrote Womaniser about me, so I’d like that to win.”
Britney bagged Video Of The Year last year for Piece Of Me, while Eminem scooped the award twice for The Real Slim Shady and Without Me.
The MTV Video Music Awards will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York on September 13. – PA.
