Enjoy edenic life this year

God wants you to develop big visions this year. Do not limit yourself in your plans for any reason because His unlimited resources are at your disposal. What is the vision that you would want to pursue if you were certain that you would not fail to achieve it and you had all the resources to work out that vision? Yes, pursue that one this year.
Do not change it citing economic, environmental and political obstacles because God will take care of all hindrances. Right now make a quality decision to obey all the word of God and the voice of the Holy Spirit.
When you have done just that rejoice, God is ready to serve you with the fatness of the land this year.
The only qualification requ-ired from you in order to enjoy the Edenic life this year is total obedience. This fact is based on the understanding of the historical account of the eviction of Adam and Eve from the rich garden of Eden.
Adam and Eve enjoyed abundant life and all-round prosperity in the graden of Eden. However, when they chose to disobey God they were chased out of the garden.
Now if the first people were chased out of the garden of Eden because of disobedience surely obedience is the way back into the garden. Choose now to obey your way back into the garden of Eden.
Job 36:11 says that if you will listen and obey you will spend your years in prosperity and your days in pleasure.
Deuteronomy 28 contains a list of blessings provoked by obedience as well as curses invited by disobedience. You only have control over what to choose between obedience and disobedience.
You do not have control over blessings or curses that come on you, they are the natural and automatic consequences of your choice between obedience or disobedience. Choose to obey and blessings have no option, but to flow towards you. Choose to disobey and curses will be your lot.
We are expected to obey God, civil governments, parents or guardians, employers, school teachers and officials, husbands and church leaders (Rom 13, 1 Peter 2, Heb 13:7, Dan 9).
If divine prosperity and godly pleasures are your goals this year then adoption of a humble and submissive spirit should be your winning strategy.
Stop fostering a critical and rebellious spirit against those in authority over you. Do not argue that they limit your freedom, they are there for your liberty and protection.
You may argue that some authorities abuse their authority and require you to do things that are in violation of scripture. Do not worry about that because you have a way out.
In Acts 4:19,20 we are given the overriding principle in the realm of obedience and that is to obey God rather than men in extreme cases where we are forced to go against the provisions of scripture.
Let us conclude by delving deeper into the standards required in obeying God’s word and the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Firstly, only total obedience is required. Partial, convenient and dealyed obedience are not required as they are tantamount to disobedience.
When you see a road sign informing you that there is an S-curve ahead and you should reduce speed to 15km/hr and you only obey the speed limit, but continue to drive straight you will be involved in accident.
Partial obedience is disobdience. Opportunities come in time and therefore, timing is important. Thus if God tells you to do something right now do it, do not delay as delayed obedience is disobedience.
Mary told the ushers at the wedding at Cana to do whatever Jesus would tell them to do and wine was produeced from water. King Saul was deposed because of disobedience and David took over the throne because of obedience.
Secondly, obedience comes before understanding. Do not ask a lot of questions before you obey God because He is not in a position to answer questions or explain things.
First obey, understanding and explanations await you at the end of the tunnel of obedience.
So be comfortable not knowing what God is doing or why He is telling to do some things especially in the area of forgiveness and giving, you will understand later on. You are like a person undergoing an open-heart surgery. You should be in deep sleep or else any premature waking up may ruin your life.
Likewise, you will only enjoy Edenic life this year if you learn to obey God without questions or trying to figure out how the pieces of the puzzle will fit.
Total obedience is the only way back into the Edenic life for you so begin to obey God now.
